- 2 ripe bananas
- ½ liter of milk
- 4 eggs (yolks only)
- 100 gr. of sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon
Tips: reserve another whole banana to decorate the custard when serving to the children. You can also use mint leaves.
1- Peel the bananas and cut them into small pieces. Reserve.
2- In a saucepan, mix the milk, the sugar, the cinnamon stick and the pieces of bananas and bring to the fire to heat.
3- When it starts to boil, lower the heat a little and keep the saucepan on heat for about 5 more minutes, stirring from time to time.
4- Remove the saucepan from the heat, remove the banana and beat it with the 4 yolks.
5- Add the hot milk and beat.
6- Bring the mixture to low heat until it begins to set.
7- Pour the custard into individual glasses or a source and let it cool.
8- When the custard is cold, put it in the fridge for a few hours until it is time to serve it.
